
PB and Banana Protein Shake
Soooo PB and banana….best combo ever….right?! This shake totally tastes like a Pb & banana milkshake…soooo good!
Shakes are a go to for me when I’m flaring up. It’s for the most part hard to digest any solid food, so blending everything helps me digest better and still be able to get the nutrients my body needs to heal in. I also love to have a shake if I’m in a rush because they are a great way to have a healthy meal on the go.
When I’m home, I love making my shakes so super thick you can eat them with a spoon…this way I can top them with my favourite goodies and eating it with a spoon makes it feel more like a meal and I feel more satisfied.
Make it:
1/2 green tipped banana (it’s less sweet)
2 tbsp @pb.and.me powdered peanut butter
1 scoop @genuinehealth vanilla flavoured fermented vegan proteins+
1/2 cup @lovemysilk almond milk
1 scoop @vitalproteins beef gelatin
Put everything in your Vitamix (or high speed blender) and blend until your desired consistency is reached. I topped it with One Degree Organics sprouted, gluten free quinoa cacao granola and one Sweets from the Earth flourless cashew cookie. Sweet tooth satisfied!
